AHSC #30

To be honest, I totally forgot about AHSC no. 30. This week was so busy. About an hour ago I remembered that I didn't make a card.

Occasionally I would see crafters being able to make a card in 10 minutes and thought that's almost impossible. Mine took 11. That's because I couldn't remember where mu heat gun is, lol.

I really like this stamp. It's CTMH Classy Doily Flair.

Holiday Card Workshop 2013 - Day 3

Day three at Holiday Card Workshop class was very inspirational.

Jennifer Rzasa shared a quilling technique. I never made anything like that, so this was quite a challenge. I didn't print out the pattern, since it's pretty simple.

I used
Cardstock - craft, white, light blue and green
Stamps - Club Scrap (snowflakes), Lili of the Valley stamps (sentiment)
dies - Papertrey Ink
Distress glitter - clear rock candy
inside stamp - CTMH

The second card is inspired by the awesome Cristina Kowalczyk.
Pretty much everything she makes is just amazing.

I used
Heidi Swapp - Stencil
Distress Inks
sentiment - Club Scrap

Laura Bassen shared a quick and simple tag, that I really liked. Mine is a bit more elaborate.

I used:
CTMH stamp
sentiment - Sclub Scrap
CTMH - rhinestone brad
shrink plastic (for the sentiment)

Holiday Card Workshop 2013 - Day 2

Stephanie Klauck shared three beautiful window cards at Holiday Card Workshop.
I made two cards using her guidelines.

I don't have fishing line, so I used regular white thread.

I used:
Whimsy Stamps - Winter Frost paper pack
Nestabilities Label 8 die
mpression Obsession dies Snowflakes
embossing sticky powder
distress glitter - clear rock candy
inside greeting - Club Scrap
extra paper from my stash

Holiday Card Workshop 2013 - Day 1

It's here again. Online Card Classes - Holiday Card Workshop 2013.

This card is inspired by Kristina Werner's card that she made for this class.

Inside is a gift-card holder.

I used
Penny Black - Holly Jolly Snowman stamp
Greeting from CTMH
Darice - Snowflake Embossing folder
Copic markers

Home for the Holidays

This week it was all work and no play. Finally I had some time today to make a card for this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #27.

As I mentioned in my previous post, last Sunday I made a bunch of Christmas Cards, so I had a lot of leftover paper. For a sentiment I used a trim at the end of the paper.
I love that CTMH decided to add that to the pattern paper.
I used Sparkle & Shine paper and one of the trees from the Complements, Trim the Tree stamp, Sparkles Holiday Shapes and Liquid Applique for a faux snow.
The gray tree was stamped with pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Cards

Last Sunday my two best friends came over and we made some Christmas cards.
I love the time we spend together.

We used the new Sparkle & Shine CTMH paper, Scandinavian Wishes and Trim the Tree stamps and all three CTMH Cricut Cartridges.
