AHSC - Sketch 40

Another card made for the AHSC. This week is #40.

I liked this sketch right away, because I knew right away what flower I'll use for it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Stenciled - day 3

On the third day at the Online Card Classes we learned about texture and dimensions with pastes. This was my favorite technique so far. I love getting my fingers dirty.

Here are my cards.
The first one is almost a replica of the card Debbie Hughes made for this class.

For the second card I used a sketch from Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #114.
It very nicely shows the background which I made from the paste and Tim Holtz ink pads.

Stenciled - day 2

The second day at Online Card Classes was full of great information. I made two cards using the same technique, one colored with PrismaColor pencils and the other one with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

Stenciled - day 1

Another class started at Online Card Classes, named Stenciled. A lot of very talented ladies are teaching us what all can be done with stencils.
I made this card using masking and inking technique.

To make this card I used a sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #39.

Tilda birthday card

Today's card is made for a really good friend of mine, who also loves Magnolia stamps. She is the person who introduced me to these images.

I'm entering this card to a challenge  #88 at Tilda's Town.

This card was made for my husband. He likes simple cards, so this week sketch at AHSC #38 was just right for a card like that.

I used:
CTMH stamps,
My Mind's Eye - Breeze paper pack
silver embossing powder

Hello There

Card I made today is created from the sketch at AHSC #37.

I switched the layout to a horizontal card because it looked much better when I assembled the card.

I used :
Magnolia Doohickey and SSS dies,
CTMH Vanilla cardstock,
MME Blush pattern papers,
SSS stamp

Be Mine?

Even though it's only the beginning of January, here is my first Valentine's card. It is made for this week's AHSC no.36.

I changed the shapes on my card, since squares just didn't work for this card.

Papers and stamps are from the new Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit.
