AHSC #118

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday. I hope you had a great beginning of the week.
We are here with the new challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
This week we have a cute sketch which I'm sure, will get you inspired.

Last week I finally got the Tim Holtz - Bird Crazy stamp set and dies. I played with them and decided to use the one of the birdies for this challenge. I stamped it on some watercolor paper and watercolor it with distress inks. For the sentiment I used a thank you stamp from Mama Elephant - Many Thanks stamp set which I stamped with Hero Arts and Mama Elephant ink pads.

 Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome back to another fun sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
This one has so much possibilities. First I planed to make it with circles, then diamonds, but at the end I decided to go with hexagons, just like Michelle did on her sketch.

For this card I used papers from Authentique - Strong collection. It is on the masculine side, so I made a Thank you card that my kids can use for their friends or teachers.
I think I will made a bunch of these cards, since it wasn't too hard to make. The hexagon shapes are  from a die from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment stamp is from Mama Elephant.

Thank you for stopping by.

Holly Jolly #52

Welcome back Holly Jolly fans. We are back with another challenge. The theme of this one is

 Inspired by a Christmas Carol.

As always we have some great sponsors and this time they are  Lacy Sunshine, Dr. Digi and Melonheadz

My card was inspired by the Christmas carol called O Tannenbaum or in English Oh Christmas Tree.
On Wikipedia you can listen to the first verse in German and then in English performed by chorus of US Army Band - Perishing's Own.

For this card I chose another adorable digi stamp from Lacy Sunshine called Bashful Boo's presents from Santa.
I colored the image with Distress inks. I didn't use too much water so the colors stayed quite bold.
Papers are from Whimsy Stamps - Christmas Time collection.
Dies are from Marianne and La la land Crafts except for poinsettia, which is from Magnolia Doohickey. I painted it with red Stickless to add some sparkle and after it dried also with white paint.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello everybody. I hope you have a nice day.
Here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge we have a new sketch to play with. I hope you will check what the rest of our team created and be inspired enough to join us.

I made this card is for my nephew who will celebrate his 9th birthday soon. He is on vacation here with us this month. I know this is not the best card for a 9 year old, since he's more into gaming, but since he often checks out how I make cards and likes my coloring, I think he'll be ok with it.

I used a bunch of different products on this card.
Animals are from the Mama Elephant - Carnival Cupcakes stamp set, which I colored with Distress markers and diecut with coordinating dies. The balloon and number 9 are cut with a die from La-la-land Crafts. I colored both with watercolors and then covered balloon with Glossy Accents and the number 9 with a glitter brush.
Sentiment stamp is from Technique Tuesday.
Grass and scalloped diecuts are also colored with watercolors.

Thanks for stopping by.

AHSC #115

Hello my crafty friends! It's time for the new Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  We are at number 115 this week.
Hope you can join in the fun again this week!

I made a Thank you card with this week's sketch.
For the main image I used an older CTMH stamp of the month - Sweet Life. I love this stamp of cherries. Probably because cherries are my favorite fruit.

I colored image with Copic markers. Papers are from Simple Stories called Summer Fresh.
Dies used are from Spellbinders, Cherry Lynn, Magnolia and Technique Tuesday.
Sentiments are from CTMH and Mama Elephant.

Thanks for stopping by.

Holly Jolly #51

Welcome back Holly Jolly fans. We have a new challenge for you and the theme is "Winter Wonderland".

As always, we have some fabulous sponsors, which are The Stamping Boutique, Sentimental Susan, Eureka, and Oddball Art.

For my card I used a digi from The Stamping Boutique called Santa and his Reindeer.
I colored it with Copic markers.
Because I wanted the image to be quite big, I decided to keep the rest of the card simple.
For the background I stamped snowflake motif around the edge with the Versamark ink sprinkled it with Sticky embossing powder and heated it. Afterwards I lightly brushed it with Perfect Pearls. I like the sparkle that doesn't require glitter.
The sentiment is a printout from one of the computer fonts.

Thanks for stopping by.
