Holly Jolly #66

Hello everyone! It's Tuesday and we at Holly Jolly have a new challenge for you. This time the task is to add a sentiment to the card.

For some inspiration go check what did the rest of the design team created.

Our sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine.

For my card I used the image called Moonflower's Christmas.
This cutie little fairy was colored with Copic markers.

Papers used are from Wild Rose Studios - Pointed Poinsettias collection. Sentiment is from CTMH.

Thanks for stopping by.

Come and Get It - Mixed Media

Hello and welcome to the new challenge at Come and Get It. This week we are creating mixed media projects.
Once again we have some awesome sponsors, SLS Lines and Crafty Sentiments Designs

For my card I used an adorable image called Air Fairy from SLS Lines.
I colored her with Copic markers. Coloring all that hair was quite challenging.

To create a mixed media project I started with 6.5 square canvas. First I covered it with 2 layers of gesso to prevent the warping. After it died I glued on some die cuts of sea weeds, jelly fish and anchor and added some texture with applying modeling paste over stencils. Then I colored all with some more gesso. When all that dried then I sprayed the canvas with some shimmer paints to create sea bottom.
I added the chipboard chain and sentiment at the end.

I hope you will come and check out what the rest of the design team created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Holly Jolly #65

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone. We are back with a new challenge at Holly Jolly. The theme this week is Embossing.

Our sponsors are  Bugaboo, Dr. Digi and Oddball Art.

For my card I used Zeddy dressed as Santa from Oddball Art. I colored the image with Copic markers and cut it out like a tag.
For the background I heat embossed snowflake background stamp with white embossing powder. Then I colored it with watercolors.
Sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in silver. That piece I also colored with watercolors. To add some dimension i added some twine behind the tag.

Thanks for stopping by.

Come and Get It - Recipe Challenge

Hello and welcome back to another challenge at Come and Get It. This week we have a recipe challenge. We have to use one image, two papers and three embellishments.

Our sponsor this week is Scrapper's Delights.

For my card I used one of the images from Fruity Babies Citrus. There is an image in the set where this adorable little girl sits on the lime wedge, but I didn't use that one.

I used papers from Flourish collection from Authentique. For embellishments I used die cut butterfly, a tag from PTI and a hand made Dogwood flower that I made from Susan's Garden Collection dies.

Thanks for stopping by.
