Holly Jolly - Add ribbon

Hello Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge fans. There is a new challenge on the blog. This time we have to add ribbon to our projects. Please check out what the rest of the team created. I'm sure you will be inspired to join us.

We have two sponsors this week. They are  Morgan's Artworld and Miss Daisies Stamps.

For my card I used a You Have My Heart Snowman from Miss Daisy Stamps. I colored this cute snowman with Copic markers. To frame the image, I adhered snowflake die cut behind it.
The background is a note paper with inked edges. The ribbon is a very smooth and shiny so to add some depth I put it on some lace trim.

Thanks for stopping by.

Come and Get It - Paper Piercing

There is a new challenge at Come and Get It. This week the theme is paper piercing.

We have two sponsors this week Sentimental Susan and  Star Stamps.

Our design team created some great cards, so go and check them out.

For my card I used an Owl from Sentimental Susan.

I colored the image with Copic markers, cut it out and adhered it with some dimensional foam tape. To create splatter on the background I used watercolors.
Sentiment and corespondent die are from Hero Arts.

Holly Jolly - Tag It

Hello my crafty friends. It's Tuesday and it's time for a new challenge at Holly Jolly. This time we are creating a Tag.

As always, we have some awesome sponsors: A Day for Daisies,  Bugaboo and My Beasties.

The image I used for my tag is from My Beasties, which I colored with Copic markers.

To create a tag I took a #10 manila tag and inked it with Distress inks. After drying I applied some texture paste over the stencil and sprinked it with some Distress glitter (Rock Candy).
The sentiment is a diecut that I raised with some fun foam. The frame around the image is also sprinkled with Distress Glitter. All in all, this tag is very glittery.
Snowflake, flower and fern are all from Magnolia Doohickey.

I also added some ribbon and jingle bells.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

The Rainbow Challenge

Hello my crafty friends; today I'm so excited to be joining the Rainbow Card Challenge blog hop.
When I say excited, I mean, that I'm typing this with a big grin on my face. Why?
I was invited by Sandy Allnock. She is an awesome artist and an amazing teacher. I took many of her classes, and I learned so much from her.

You should have arrived here from Jacqueline's blog. If you want to start from the beginning of the hop, go to Sandy's blog so you don't miss any of the awesome cards.

And of course, today's card was inspired by Sandy, in a way as she says that she like to color all of the images from the sets. I couldn't squeeze all 10 bots on this card; however, I used as many as I could fit on the card. The stamp set I used was Mini Bots from Clearly Besotted.
For stamping I used Misty, but I still had issues. I had to use 4 card panels, because I messed up masking so many times. Sometimes listening to an audiobook while crafting isn't the best idea.

Choosing Copic markers for this card was easy. To create these bright colors I used markers that have low first numbers like: R22, R24, R39 or G12, G14, G16...

After coloring I added some Glossy Accents on some parts of their bodies and balloons to add some dimension.

The next stop is Ruth C

Come and Get It - Weird or Whimsical

Hello my crafty friends. I'm back with a card for a new challenge at Come and Get It. This week the theme is Weird or Whimsical.

Our sponsor this week is Ppinky Dolls Art.

For my card I used a digi called Coucou.
This little doll looks so delicate that I decided to color it with color pencils. I used a very light hand and created lots of layers. I'm not yet skilled using color pencils; however, the learning of it is fun.

For a background I used some floral design paper. Sentiment is stamped on vellum with versamark ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder.

Don't forget to check what the rest of our design team created. I hope you'll get inspired and join our challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.
