Holly Jolly - Show me some sparkle

Hello my crafty friends. Today, Holly Jolly is starting a new challenge. We have to add some sparkle to the card.

Our sponsor this time is Art by Miran.

For my card I used an image called Gifts For You, which I colored with Copic markers. After I cut it out I put fun foam on the back to raise the image from the background.
Background paper is from Maja Designs.
The sentiment is created by gluing together 3 die cuts, to add some dimension. Then I covered it with liquid glue and sprinkled some Rock Candy Distress glitter on it. To make the card even more sparkling I brushed Wink of Stella to girl's scarf and pompoms.

Come and Get It - For the Kids

Hello my crafty friends. It's Sunday, which means there is a new challenge at Come and Get It. This week the theme is 'For the Kids'

Our sponsors this week are Eureka Stamps and QKR Stampede.

For my card is used an image called Birthday Girl from QKR Stampede which I colored with Copic markers.
To make this card interesting for a kid, I made a shaker card. They are always fun. The sequins are little stars, hearts, flowers an other little shapes.

On the side I added a flower, button and some yellow twine.

Camp Create - Background Bonanza

Hello my crafty friends.
I'm back with another entry to the Camp Craft challenge. The fifth is Background Bonanza where we had to create a background with stamps.
Since I only have one MFT stamp (Beary Special Birthday), I used an image from that one. I stamped the gifts in a diagonal , colored them with Copic markers and adhered the panel to some black cardstock. For the sentiment I inlaid the Happy Birthday diecut into black cardstock.

Camp Create - Magnificent Masking

Here is my fourth entry in the Camp Create challenge.
I love masking. Often I make a mess, but it's always fun to remove masks and see the final result.

For this card I used two bear images from the Beary Special Birthday stamp set. I love these cute little bears.
First I stamped the hat, masked it, then stamped the bear holding the balloon, masked that one, then stamped the bear in the box, masked that one too and then I used Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky Distress inks to create a background.

Camp Create - Inlaid made easy

Hello my crafty friends.

I'm participating in the Camp Create challenges on MFT blog.  The third one is Inlaid made Easy.

To create a background for this card I used some Distress inks, and the Big Balloons stencil. To make some inlaind pieces I cut the red and silver paper with Happy Birthday Centerpiece die, and assemble the card. I adhered everything on some red cardstock, which I then adhered to a white card base.

Camp Create - Coloring on Craft

Hello my crafty friends. I'm back with another card for Camp Create.

For the Coloring on Kraft challenge I decided to use one of the bear stamps from the Beary Special Birthday stamp set. I colored it with Copic markers. To add a bit of highlights I used white color pencils. I cut it out with a rectangle stitched stax die. For the background I heat embossed in white the Scattered Surface BG stamp on some yellow cardstock.
Sentiment is also embossed in white and then raised with some dimensional adhesive.

Camp Create - Fantastic Foiling

Hello my crafty friends.

I'm totally new to My Favorite Things world. A month ago, I made my first order (some background stamps) and got totally hooked on their products. This month on the release day, I ordered more stuff. I have one stamp set, some background stamps and some dies.
Then I discovered that they have this huge challenge called Camp Create, and I decided to enter all of them with my limited supplies. It was so much fun!

For the first challenge Fantastic Foiling I really wanted to use some of the teal foil. From some toner paper I diecut the Happy Birthday sentiment and run it through mini Minc.
To add some interest on the black cardstock, I heat embossed the Etched Flower stamp with black embossing powder. Since I didn't have any teal cardstock, I colored some white one with Copic marker.

Unfortunately, foiling doesn't photograph well.

Holly Jolly - Inspired by Christmas song

Hello my crafty friends. It's Tuesday, which means that Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge is back with a new challenge. This time we are creating projects inspired by a Christmas song.

We have some great sponsors this week. Bugaboo, Sami Stamps and The Stamping Boutique

When I saw this cute Snowman Couple from Bugaboo, I instantly started humming the Mariah Carey song All I want for Christmas is You...

Image is colored with Copic markers. I diecut the frame, covered it with liquid adhesive and sprinkled it with some turquoise glitter. For the background I used Distress inks on the plain white cardstock, sprayed it a bit with water, and after everything dried out, I used the snowflake embossing folder. To make snowflakes more visible I gently passed over them with white inkpad.

Sentiment is typed and printed out.

Come and Get It - Make your own background

Hello my crafty friends.  There is a new challenge at Come and Get It, and this week the topic is Make your own background.

Our sponsor this week is A Day for Daisies.

Don't forget to check out the rest of our design team.

For my card I used Miss Clair Clown digi. I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out so I could adhere it with some dimensional tape on the background. At the end I painted balloons with some Wink of Stella to add some shimmer.

The background was created with Copic markers. I learned this from Make it Crafty's Coloring Skies e-book.
